“Lions’ Pride” was called out at 08.35 BST on 11th August 2013, by Jersey Coast Guard, to search for a person reported to enter the water fully clothed at around 07.30 am in St Aubins Bay on the south coast of Jersey.
The aircraft took off at 09.00 and proceeded to Jersey.
The area was searched between Elizabeth Castle and Corbiere light house. With nothing to report the search was stood down.
Visibility was very good and items of debris and fishing bouys could clearly be seen.
St Helier Lifeboat and two inshore lifeboats also took part in the search.
The aircraft returned to Guernsey, landing at 10.10 am having been airborne for 1 hour 10 minutes.
