1154/2024 - Person on rocks

Lions' Pride, which was on a training exercise south of Guernsey, set course for the area and Guernsey Coastguard relayed the coordinates.

On arrival in the area at 1915hrs, the individual was immediately located using the Wescam infra-red camera.

It was apparent that the person was fishing, and was well equipped with suitable clothing. There were no signs of distress and the information was relayed to Guernsey Coastguard, who later spoke to the person and verified that all was well.

Lions' Pride was stood down and returned to Guernsey, landing at 1935hrs.
