1089/2024 Missing Swimmer

The crew were alerted by Guernsey Coastguard at 1806hrs (local time) and requested to assist in the search for a Swimmer missing in Cobo. It had been reported that the Swimmer entered the water from Grandes Rocques beach at 1630hrs with the intention of swimming to Grosse Rocque.
Coming off blocks at 1840hrs, Lions' Pride departed from runway 09 at 1845hrs, setting course for the search area. At 1850hrs we were instructed to stand down as the person had been found safe on the beach by Guernsey Police.
Lions' Pride returned to Guernsey, landing at 1855hrs and return to the hangar to be made ready for the next service.
