A callout was initiated by Alderney Coastguard to search for a missing female on Alderney.

Air Search One was tasked to look for a female, 5 ft 10 in, last seen Saturday 21st April at around 11.40 p.m.

Airborne at 8.20 a.m., Air Search One was on task at 8.35 a.m., starting the search at the south west corner of Alderney.

The search continued across the Island until Alderney Coastguard stood the service down at 9.10 a.m. with the report that the female had been found safe and well.

Air Search One returned to Guernsey Airport, landing at 9.25 a.m.
