The Channel Islands Air Search aircraft, call sign Air Search One, was called out at 11.17 hrs on 4th March by Jersey Coastguard Service to search for an individual who had been reported missing earlier in the day.

The aircraft took off at 12.00 hrs and proceeded to the search area, in the vicinity of Devil's Hole, Jersey.

An Air Search crew member said "A search was conducted in the area of Devil's Hole, Jersey, to look for a female who had last been seen in the area.

"A thorough search of the area was completed in support of Jersey Police and Jersey Coastguard before the aircraft departed the area at 12.50 hrs, being replaced by a French helicopter."

The aircraft landed at Guernsey at 13.00 hrs, having been airborne for one hour.
