Around Guernsey Swim - early August

Neil Faudemer is attempting to swim around Guernsey during the first week of August (weather permitting) to help raise funds and awareness for the service.

Neil says: "I have undertaken several long distance swims in the Channel Islands. Sark to Jersey - Guernsey to Jersey being the most notable, as I am the first man to have successfully swum these. I have tremendous respect for the sea as a result of these experiences and know only too well the dangers of the local tidal waters and how easy it is to get into difficulty. Channel Islands Air Search play a critical role in supporting safety and rescue at sea and I want to raise awareness and funds for this organisation. One never knows one day it could be you that needs their help."
